Acres of Hope and Aspirations Where Healing is Nurtured by Nature features Gardens of Hope and Creatures of Rehab. Acres of Hope and Aspirations is a rehab facility dedicated to make a difference to those lives affected or touched by brain injury. The grounds contain gardens, a rehab home and farm that is supervised and staffed 24 hours/day by RNs and rehab staff skilled and experienced in brain injury rehab and recovery and neurobehavioral problems.

Acres of Hope and Aspirations helps clients and their families recover, rehabilitate and overcome and compensate for deficits sustained from a brain injury. Clients can face lives worth living as they embark on a new but different journey that provides support, motivation and hope.

Ordinary Rehab is transformed into the Extra-Ordinary. Day treatment, respite care and short and long term care stays are available. Each client has an individualized rehabilitation care plan that incorporates the goals of ACRES that include (A)bilities and Achievements, (C)haracter and Community Restoration, (R)estoration and Rehabilitation, (E)mpowerment and Enhancement and

(S)trength and Satisfaction.

Creatures of Rehab participate in animal assisted therapy and instrumental in the daily rehab regime. include all the animals that assist in rehab and care of clients providing a touch of nature that nutures the soul and touches the heart. Animals include pet deer, miniature donkeys and ponies, duck, geese, chickens, tortoises and peacocks.

Medical case management of each individual client is provided by a licensed RN and Certified Case Manager which provides a wholistic approach to the rehabilitation process.

Supported and assisted living is provided by a team of healthcare professionals. Skilled nursing care and personal care giving services provide the foundation to rehabilitation. Cognitive skills training, therapeutic recreation and vocational rehab are available to assist with goals of gaining independency, community re-entry and work traits.
